A Century of Witness: Yoruba Political Culture, Leadership and the Conscience of a Nation” is a lecture theme and intellectual reflection on the history, values, and political traditions of the Yoruba people in Nigeria, especially through the example of elder statesman Reuben Fasoranti.

The TYF-PAC (Think Yoruba First Political Action Committee) and Think Yoruba First (TYF) are hosting the final day of a free medical outreach and PVC (Permanent Voter’s Card) registration drive at the Shopping Center, Mile 2 Housing Estate, Jakande.

A medical outreach and Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration drive is being held today in Amuwo Odofin by TYF PACC and TYF Lagos members. Residents can access free healthcare services such as check-ups and consultations, while also registering for or collecting their PVCs. The initiative promotes both community health and civic engagement.

Members of Tyf- kwara/ Kogi and TYF- PAC recently carried out a heartfelt humanitarian outreach in Oke-Ode, bringing much-needed support and resources to the community. The initiative focused on key areas like food distribution, positively impacting the lives of many residents. Community members turned out to register for new PVCs, update their voter information, and receive guidance on the registration process. The exercise recorded meaningful participation, reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of voter registration and active citizenship. The presence and dedication of TYFPAC members and TYF-FCT volunteers ensured a smooth and well-coordinated activity, as residents were supported throughout the process.

Constitutional Review at the Dome, Akure The Constitutional Review at the Dome, Akure, was a public engagement forum where citizens, stakeholders, and representatives gathered to discuss proposed amendments to Nigeria’s Constitution. The event provided an opportunity for people to voice their opinions on key national issues such as governance, security, federalism, and citizens’ rights, with the aim of strengthening democracy and promoting inclusive national development.

The National Summit on the Future of Nigeria’s Democracy was a forum that brought together key stakeholders to assess the state of democratic governance in Nigeria and to propose reforms aimed at strengthening democratic institutions, citizen participation, and the rule of law.
