Tinubu Holds Separate Closed-Door Talks with Makinde, Mutfwang at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday met separately with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The governors arrived at different times, with Mutfwang reaching the State House around 3:00 pm, followed shortly by Makinde at about 3:30 pm.

The meetings come amid growing political consultations and realignments as key actors begin positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
